Description

Practice Resources, LLC (PRL) is looking for a remote Reporting Analyst to help drive critical business decisions by analyzing metrics and designing reports, both internally and for our clients. The preferred candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, information systems or a related field. The candidate will also have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, among other software programs. In addition to technical skills, the reporting analyst must have the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time well. The ability to effectively communicate the results of your analysis is critical. Pay range for this position is $60,000-$80,000 per year.

Responsibilities for Reporting Analyst

  • Design business analysis and data recording systems for use throughout the organization
  • Maintain reports/databases and perform updates as necessary to ensure accuracy
  • Regularly examine data reports to locate and resolve mistakes throughout
  • Accurately analyze and collect data for various types of reports
  • Create business reports that provide insight into key data points
  • Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to management
  • Support various departments in reaching their goals through analysis
  • Monitor data to identify changes in financial and business trends

Qualifications for Reporting Analyst

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, information systems or a related field preferred
  • One to three years of experience as a financial or business analyst preferred
  • Analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, graphs and charts, knowledge of Microsoft Access preferred
  • Experience in other data analysis programs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively relate data to organization
  • Excellent critical thinking skills to help solve problems and make decisions
  • Tendency to pay close attention to small details
  • General knowledge of business operations, objectives, strategies, process and information flow
